Pastor Frank Feltis came to Burton Batptist Church in 2003. He is a second career pastor. He spent 27 years as a firefighter in Sioux Falls, South Dakota retiring in 1996 as a captain. He went to North American Baptist Seminary in Sioux Falls, where he received his Master of Divinity degree. He also has a BA in Religious Studies from the University of Sioux Falls. He is currently working on a Doctor of Ministry in Preaching at Gordon-Conwell Seminary. Pastor Frank spent three years pastoring in Iowa where he was very involved in prison and motorcycle ministries. Pastor Frank's hobbies include reading, walking, weightlifting, and motorcycle riding.
Pastor Frank and his wife Ann have five children: Jon, Kelli, Shana, Jennifer and Jessica. They also have four grandchildren: Alexander, Stephanie, Aidan and Libby.
